The History

Enki was a Sumerian god who reigned in Sumerian mythology, after the departure of the Anunnakis, a very, very long time ago, Enki is named the god of fresh water, magic and peace on earth and in heaven.

It is in the heart of this year that I discovered with force these wild, immutable and mysterious lands....

Welcomed by the "Maasai" people with ancestral and thousand-year-old customs, they lead me towards a mysterious mine, where one of the greatest treasures of the earth's crust is found.

This deep mine dug into the rock, conceals one of the rarest stones in the world, the "Tanzanite".

With a color and a composition that is unique in this world, this stone, 1000 times rarer and more beautiful than a sapphire, is of absolute beauty.

It is here at the origins of civilization that I acquired the stones, which will later be cut, then mounted in rows of necklaces, to give these magnificent settings, which today have given rise to the project "The Water Bearer".

Characteristics And Gemology

Tanzanite is a blue to purple variety of zoisite discovered in 1967 in Tanzania.

It is often found in the form of a transparent gem. It has the same chemical formula as zoisite Ca2 (Al.OH) Al2 (SiO4) 3

But with lighter traces of vanadium.

This mineral is remarkable for its strong trichroism, presenting, depending on the orientation of the crystal, flashes of sapphire blue, purple or burgundy red.

Most tanzanites on the market have undergone heat treatment to obtain or maintain their colors.  here the stones are unique and are not irradiated, coming from the deposits of C-Block Mine, Merelani Hills (Mererani) or from the unique production in the world of a small volume of 1 million carrats per year supplying the majority of the market, the future of the mine being limited,.....
